Just fitted some b8 rs4 rims, think they suit the b7 much better, what do you think [emoji106]

Front splitter looks like the Seat Cupra splitter.
There used to be lots of quattro badges like that on eBay.

Like the wheels, not keen on the rest though as the amount of badges really do bug me.

Ye the Quattro badge was from eBay, around £20 I think, I fitted it an to be honest I was going to take it off but it's growing on me now!
The splitter is a genuine cupra r splitter, had to do abit of modifying to fit but took no longer than half hour to do, it really does suit the b7!
The lights have been wrapped in fly eye vinyl and the rear lights were painted at my friends body Shop, he mixed the tint himself. Cheers guys!

As for the wheels and tyres, the wheels are et26 and I'm running 10mm spaces all around, with 235 tyres with a little stretch. It doesn't catch at all, not had anyone it the back yet. The rims are near on perfectly inline with the arches give or take a couple of mm!

You have black rear lights? What does that look like, any pictures?
Also, i did not like the quattro emblem when audi first showed the new RS cars with them on. But i have recently changed my mind. Looks really great!

There the rear lights, there abit boy racer but the original red didn't go well with the green!

Did you buy the vossens that were for sale on here? They were lovely wheels, I was tempted by them!Shinobi675 wrote:These are what I was thinking on the b8. But then the vossens came up first.

What's the offset on the B8 rims? Aside from the spigot rings any spacers needed?
They look ace btw.

Having almost bought a set of the B8 RS4/5 spoked rims, I was informed by the guys at AMD that the size of these would cause serious problems to the suspension and chassis of the B7.
Is it a case of bad luck if you do or will problems show up after substantial mileage?
Anyone have experience having run these rims for a while?

AMD are talking absolute sh1t
Jesus Christ I have never heard such a load of bollocks like that for a good while. AMD cretins.
How on earth can a set of 20" alloys cause serious damage. I've ran my S7 20" for 3 years with no problems at all.

Yer this doesn't sound right. I could see that the suspension would need setting up, but the size difference is so small, I'd not expect it to be unsafe without (just scrub the tyres unevenly). Plus I could see that the handling would change, bigger tyres, unbalancing the front and rear. Changing the over/under steer characteristics.
So serious problems? Seems a bit of an exaggeration.

As previously stated they are ET26.weekenny wrote:What's the offset on the B8 rims? Aside from the spigot rings any spacers needed?

The B8 chassis has a centre bore of 66.6 compared to the B7 size of 57.1 so spigots are required.
Re: Just fitted some b8 rs4 rims, think they suit the b7 muc
I've been running these for years with no issues.y700suf wrote:Having almost bought a set of the B8 RS4/5 spoked rims, I was informed by the guys at AMD that the size of these would cause serious problems to the suspension and chassis of the B7.

The B8 wheels are the same width as B7 OEM wheels and have an offset of 3mm less so stick out 3mm more than OEM wheels (people are running spacers on OEM wheels of 8 / 10 /12 mm with no issues so 3 is almost negligible in comparison).
And if you are running 255/30/20 tyres the rolling radius is identical to B7 OEM 19inch wheels and tyres so no difference at all.
