mmm good idea, didn't really think of that.
or is a £1k spend enough to do something totally different in all 4 corners of the car perhaps.

The only reason I didn't do it , im not a fan of coil overs for road use .

I'd think twice about AMD. My car had a new clutch fitted there, a carbon clean and KW coilovers.

The coilovers were left on different settings all round (caught by 4rings). Subframe bolts were not torqued back up after the clutch install (caught by MRC). MRC also didn't seem to think much of their carbon cleaning (the car made about 390hp after an AMD clean, and 427PS after MRC. Different dynos I know but quite a difference).

Those were jobs done by the previous owner. I only went there once, which was to have a milltek exhaust fitted on my MK4 Golf GTI; they fitted it too close to the underbody of the car, so that when it warmed up and the exhaust moved a bit it would touch the car and make an awful racket in the cabin. Milltek reinstalled it correctly.

All of these experiences were a few years back now, but just so people are aware...

The kit alone is still cheaper than most . buy it and fit it yourself or take it elsewhere

I've eventually got the car into Audi for the suspension. I took it to Chelmsford. Amazingly they have come out saying there's no problem at all with the front shocks (they got it checked over by a 'Audi Master Technician' or something like that rather than taking the normal technicians word for it), 1 back shock was leaking badly so they replaced that (and the pipe going to it) which would have been having an adverse affect on the fronts -its pretty much halved the cost!

Camspec in Camberly can look at the shocks for you. They have all the DRC kit needed

I had the same thing when I took mine in for a check up.

I was told my front and rear discs and pads needed replacing, the pads I got done about 6 months later and the discs lasted 2.5 years and 40,000 miles more.

Flaps, mine got stuck so i wedged them open, sounds better.

For DRC I would make the trip to CamSpec in Crawley, they really know there stuff. I was down there the other day and there was 2 other RS4's down there having work done at the same time so the see a few of them. I just don't trust Audi dealers with my car anymore.
