anyone know this car?? colour change to glut orange?

as title, I'm considering coming back into the fold, does anyone on here know this car or reg, believe a private plate VAJ 4 was on it previously?

any info much appreciated. I have done the standard MOT history checks. HPI, Audi UK etc..

just asking if forum know the car

That car has been through the same auction about 4 times now and it never goes for a low price considering it's possibly got loads of faults. It's a definite pay your money /take a chance car.

yeah its a bit suspect completely agree, been keeping an eye on it for bit, just thought id ask on here as its a small world...cat D and gamble with management light on defo...was thinking an less expeensive ring toy possibly haha

It looks like it has been stripped back to the shell to get painted as all the bulkhead/engine bay has been done too, so it's had quite a rebuild and who knows if it's been put back together properly. I'd rather buy something where you can see the damage before repairs.
After selling my B7 I couldn't settle with a normal car so now have a stage 2 S4 which cured that haha.

agree, best to see damage...I thought it looked like a wrap at first until I seen bulkhead under bonnet etc, few plastic trims missing under bonnet etc too, headlights don't look genuine from under bonnet as there looks to be Stickers on the inside of the housing that I never remember seeing also.....

probally had a front end shunt and engine out etc for paint...

I will keep an eye on it and see what reserve is...if its cheap enough and turns out to be a lemon worst case I would break and get my money back haha

sometimes the mind goes into overdrive when car browsing hahaha. could be a smart looking car if price is right

It also has a large rip in the carpet just behind the rear of the centre console so doesn't look like it was dismantled with care.
Good luck if you decide to go for it and I'll keep an eye out for your 'breaking RS4' advert haha.
