Brake Disc Retaining Screw

Post by rs4uk » Sat Apr 02, 2016 8:51 pm

Anybody know the corrected sized screw that attaches the disc?

Had to drill them out as they were seized in

I have a feeling it might be m6? or is it a dealer part?

It's M6 but with a torx head.
That doesn't matter though, any M6 x 10 mm countersunk screw will do.
It's only there to keep the disc from flopping about when the wheels off anyway.
You can get away without them as long as you make sure the disc doesn't turn on the hub while the wheels off.

+1 been there and done that

Joke really - with a bit of high melt grease/copper slip on any bolt/screw (including wheel retaining bolts) threads it would never ever happen !
