Where do you get the clear lenses from then?I got them from a guy in the States. He got them made specifically for the B7. The fit was Extremely good. I would say OEM. I think I might have his details somewhere if somebody need them?PaulRS4 wrote:+1neckarsulm wrote:Alex,

Yes, the change from tango to clear was a running change in late 2006.rs4pat wrote:i dont think my car has the tango lights . did some of them come with the clear lights?
So early ones, like mine, were built with tango but later ones were built with clear.
Gone: 2006 B7 RS4 Avant (Phantom Black)

So tempted to do this, but it looks a mission !!
Re: Detango guide with pics
Not as straight forward as you think.
You should really scrape out the old sealant and use new sealant. This is a really messy job.
Also the screw at the top i.e. 12 o"clock of the indicator is hidden so you have to push the torx screwdriver in-between the reflector and the casing to get at it.
Be careful not to mark or rub the chrome reflector on any surface as it is really thin.
Wear white cotton gloves as not to leave finger prints, you can get them from boots or flee bay.
