its deffo time to sell

Post by geordie jay » Mon Feb 01, 2016 2:28 pm

had me car up for sale last summer, wasnt really fussed if i sold it or not as i really didn't want to sell but for unpractical unforeseen reasons its deffo time to sell now. i have a lot going on later in the year so would rather sell now.
i will be putting details up on forum later in the week and also putting it on pistonheads.
just thought i would spread the word out now if you interested in a daytona saloon rs4.
pm me if interested

cheers jay

Your advert looks fine, possibly top end cash for mileage and being an 06 tho imo

Welcome opinion bud, I do concur I am asking top money for it however I do feel it is worth it, 5k spent 5 months ago on a clutch and brakes, two huge jobs that won't need done again for the life of the car, probably.

Will hold out a bit then if needs be drop the price a tad :kissmyrings:

Completely agree with you, i'd do the same... thing is people these days dont look at that intially, they just see the price and think its too much before even reading the advert.
They also want everything for rock bottom... just the world we live in no unfortunately.

Similar story for me as with Jay, house purchase/renovation is going to take most of my money for the next year so think it's sensible to sell the car, buy a cheap runabout then look at something nice again this time next year.

Honestly no idea what I'll get as a runabout though, I've conceded that whatever it may be it will leave me missing the RS! Needs must.

Painful, but sometimes it just has to be done. I currently own a 205 GTi and 1999 A4, both with circa 140,000 miles on the clock, and a house thats mid-renovation and a complete mess! Its both incredibly exciting and incredibly depressing at the same time. Roofers finished Monday, paid for my kitchen this morning, plasterer coming this Friday, its getting there....
