Hi
As per title. I have a standard RS4 B7 Avante with sports suspension plus. What spacers can I use without any risk of rubbing?
Any suggestions of which brands work best would be great too.
Thanks
Ivan

Re: Wheel Spacer Advise
If on standard wheels don't bother unless you have to. I run 4mm with 20" wheels as they don't clear the calipers otherwise. I had a whole world of rubbing problems until I fitted 235 x 30's as I'm lowered too.
RS4 B7, Mugello Blue, K&W V3 & HR ARBs, set up by Centre Gravity, Milltek Valved Non Res & cat bypass pipes, BMC air filter, braided hoses, DOT 5.1, Terraclean, MRC Full Carbon Clean, MRC remap 448PS 477NM, 20" S7 alloys with 4mm spacers & Hawke spigots 66.6 > 57.1, AP Racing front discs. Sold Sept 2019. Now rocking an F80 M3

I run 10mm at the back on lowered suspension and have no rubbing at all.

Re: Wheel Spacer Advise
To further qualify, why I was asking about tyres.
I have the SS+ suspension option with standard 19" wheels. I then fitted H&R hub centric spacers to the car, 8mm to the front and 10mm on the rear.
With worn Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres I experienced light rubbing on spirited driving, once these were replaced with new Michelin Pilot Supersport tyres. I tried the spacers again and the rubbing has stopped. I guess the tolerance for tyre sidewall squidge whilst under load is now very small with spacers fitted. Michelin tyres I've found to have firmer sidewalls, which is a characteristic that I prefer and has also helped out in this scenario.
I don't necessarily agree with Covkiller's comments about not bothering with a standard car. Personally I think that the RS4 looks better for having spacers fitted and I have no rubbing now. Win, win.

Re: Wheel Spacer Advise
Tyres at the minute are Avons rear, Conti's front 7mm tread ish all round. Dont blame me for the mismatch, I've only just bought the car.
Tyre choice will be Pilot Sports, after I have worn these down.
I'm wanting to improve the stance with the spacers, but don't want to create a rub issue, as I drive pretty hard. not sure If I can get the stance, without the rub?????
Also if I go 10mm rear, and 8mm front, what bolts a recommended?
Thanks
Ivan

Re: Wheel Spacer Advise
I'm running 10mm Eibach hubcentrics all round with standard 19" wheel set up (255/35/19 Dunlops) and I rub over hard cornering and speed bumps. Revolution247 sorted me out with extended bolts too. My car stance looks awesome but after reading the above comments I'm wondering if I have a spring weakness issue?
Any ideas and I hope this helps with your spacer choice Ivan Good.
