Thanks for taking the trouble to join a forum just to show us this. Personally I prefer the Rosstech page which at least recognises different models of A4 etc. - as you say - crazy !

When i was googling websites earlier, i found rather a lot of VAG codes..... mental.....

I find a lot of VAG on the internet too. Mostly when I'm alone at night...

Much of the A4 information is for the B8 (the clue is Long Coding, AFAIK the only module on the B7 with long coding is the engine ECUs), so don't expect most of what's listed there to work on the B7...

The Ross-Tech wiki is IMHO much better as it's listed by model type.
