I think it's one of (bar Sam's) the best Avant's around frankly, with the rare Ceramics (that'll bolster your resale one day) I'd be all over it (if I was to swing to the dark side and actually like bread van's)

Amazed it's not not gone already...

All said before, but FBSW, Additive lights and dipping rear view/auto wipers and buckets (SS+ for me and a wedge of history). But honestly, (IMO Imola Yellow aside) the colour is secondary for me if 'that' car checked all my boxes...
Gone but never forgotten:
2007 RS4 B7 Saloon, Metallic Silver with SS+.
LED's all round and Dectane LED tailights. KDS detail and paint. Lepsons black chrome, heavy on the silver wheels. JCWeldFab full system - valved and no pre-cats. MRC stage 2, de-flap and full carbon clean - 438PS and 489NM. HEL brake lines. H&R Spacers. Gtechniq C1 and EXO V2 coatings. 2010+ RNS-E. On the MRC dyno: http://youtu.be/y_k0VJ2--y8

Me too. Everything else checked out but rode the cradle... hey, it left the factory like that so I see it as a bit of nostalgia and I use it!

Imola Yellow and that spec would be perfect!

Thanks Tom - just saw your PM arrive. I'll reply once I get near a proper keyboard.

SS vs SS+: I've had both on the same car and would choose SS+ every time. I wrote a longer winded comparison last year - must hunt it out and post a link.

Ceramics: again, I'm one of the few who has experienced both. The price is irrelevant. Yes, it ups the car price but the pads last a crazy long time and the discs, well, they're pretty much lifetime. Would choose ceramics again in a heartbeat for many other reasons I won't get into now.

Chat later Tom :)

If I was buying now (10 months afer buying mine) ,I would have on my must have/to do list.
1, Buckets
2, Flat bottom wheel
3, Probably most important... a fully stamped SH preferably with lots of receipts.
4, A car from a forum member if at all possible ( as these guys really know the cars, unlike a lot of owners)
5 pref a car with a recent carbon clean / stage 2 ( as these 2 combined totally transform the car make no mistake) Afterwards hitting the sport button feels like the car is turbo/supercharged) You will be amazed trust me.
6. Miltek non res exhaust Absolutely vital in my opinion. (sounds sublime)

After doing all of the above I now have a car that has made me forget and not miss my previous cars... E92 V8 M3 ... E46 M3 CSL... E39 M5...

All of the above are now on my wish list, with a possible exception to the exhaust. The reason I'm looking at these cars is that I want to have fun, but not look/sound like a boy racer. I had this a few years back when I was using my evo as a daily.....

I will reserve full judgment until I have heard a car with 1 fitted in person tho.

It needs to be an Avant I'm afraid mate plus I'm generally not a fan of the saloon, sorry.

Does look a lovely car other than that though!
