That' awesome. Anyone contemplating buying Milltek spending near this would certainly be mad no to take up the JCWF offer to RS246 members...

Jon, Michael and Mark are all top guys -proper petrol heads and seriously anal about everything...

As a weekend car i would enjoy the sounds coming from the various systems out there, but as daily driver, no thanks. it would drive me nuts.

The drone with a non-res Milltek was too much for me so I swapped to a res (the drone is still there but tolerable), so I could never live with anything like that.

Avant owners - the drone is noticeably worse in an Avant than a saloon and covers a wider rev range...

Mine does drone, but like PetrolDave mentioned, the avant is a little more pronounced. I think each system is slightly different then, as my 'drone range' is 1800-2200 and its out. Another gear for me soon sorts it and it's not unbearable... but like I said, each car/system is slightly different...

Well, not a good start i suppose

i noticed a pool of oil under the bumper the other day, looks like oil cooler.

So my planned trip to MRC is now happening very early lol.

Shes of to MRC today for

New oil cooler pipes
Carbon Clean
Stage 2
and a service...

not a cheap thing but ah well, i am going to decoke it myself next time at least it will be mapped around a decent car

MRC are booking for around 15 days time at the moment, so i am leaving it there hoping they will get it in sooner, Doug thinks he may.

Hi Ross. Hope you're well

Looks nice on the 20's I think. I was looking at the rs6 c6 next but agree with what you say. It's probably just the speed that is attractive. The Rs4 seems a much better and exciting package. Still miss mine.

It will come back a different beast after some MRC magic as it did before.

What tyres you got on those rotors mate?? Do you get any rubbing on inner arch sitting that low?

It hasn't rubbed with weight in the car but it does "mount" speed bumps.

I am having the suspension raised as its to low for me however i have noticed both front inner arches have signs on touching on full lock.

and there 255/30/20

Howdy Gino,

Funny enough i noticed your last thread the other day, so you got there in the end, hows the c63? It is a league ahead in terms of the techo bits no doubt... but can it pull of the looks? a lot less in your face..

The RS6 was good, i do miss it but it was a big old lump. Very understated looks as until you notice the stepped arches etc and then start to see how wide it is. It was a lovely car but i felt a bit disconnected from it.

What tyres you got on and whats the load rating? I had good yr f1,s on but just changed to pirellis 255.35.20 as the load rating wasnt safe at 92 which i thought was ok but been told its not..and theres no 92 in 20" so had to go for bigger tyre at 35...now i want it higher coz its catching and my kw springs are at the max so im a bit miffed :bash:

The AMG is all good mate, ta. Just been remapped by eurocharged to 520hp and gearbox mapped also. Ive gutted the Secondary cats too. The techno is massively in front over the B7 and where it is less noticeable in the looks department, a simple blip of the load pedal and jesus does it bite. Not so good in the rain though.

I may be on the hunt for another B7 later in the year or beginning of next after ive got the C63 itch out of the way, but they are both great cars in different ways.
