Head and valve decoke Performance K&N panel filter. Remapped. Lowered slightly (20mm) on KW performance springs Widened on 10mm spacers.

Looks like we spoke about this before: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=108263&p=660042&hilit=Oil#p659871 :thumb:

This'll help: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=109119&hilit=+5W30

And: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=107789&p=648899&hilit=fuch#p648899

Oil is 5W30 all the way FULLY synthetic, personally, nothing else. But the key criteria is VW504/507 approved.

Easily - I think it's better. It's VW/Audi Type approved and know SurreySam likes it/uses it and I know a few others do - so do I. I have found that when compared against Castrol Edge as used in the early days of my ownership, the GT1:

It gets to operational temp marginally quicker.
Operational temperature is a couple of degrees warmer.
Operational window is more stable/narrower.

I find I also burn less too and require less top-up's - that may be just my engine, I don't know.

Yeah, my Indy here uses it over castrol for servicing. Meant to be a bit better in his opinion.

it's not though. I've worked alongside Castrol and I know their base's and blends are in fact better...

Well in my local main dealer I asked for top up oil and they gave me quantum, service manager said that's what they use for servicing...
