If there were any decent Imola saloons (with black optics of course) when I was looking I would have picked one up, unfortunately, they're few and far between.

When I was originally looking 3 years ago now, I missed out on a Sprint Blue Avant with FBSW, Buckets, Ceramics, 1 owner, 19k miles for £27k. Imagine what that would be retailed for by Parkway and similar now.
Low mileage cars seem to be up at good money but there's plenty of choice around. Selling mine in within a couple months. Maybe parkways will buy it and put it up at £29k :) , they seem to get a lot of low mileage examples.

Was looking through the threads to see if someone on here owned this example as its myself that's just bought it - not at that asking prices might I add lol! It's an absolutely beautiful car , but some things it's missing in my opinion - sun roof would have been nice ! I agree that these cars can put people off as they are more difficult to sell , but Im not worried about that as I don't plan on selling it (ever) !

Now just to decide whether or not to wrap the silver optics to black or change the grill to silver again - no idea why it has a black grill (confused with that idea) ! Think I may keep it silver optics though.

I love modding cars , but I think this one will stay pretty original......that may change after a few month ownership lol (supercharger does sound ather menacing though :) ! )

I think that looks the absolute nuts! I looked at one of these when i was looking for mine. Unfortunately it wasnt clean enough for me, nut was so tempted at the time.

What exactly makes the whole 'optics' thing, be they silver or black?

Is the GTS yours? If so, how do they initially compare?

Good spot ! No it's not, but I've had one before (carrera 4 GTS). I do like the gts , but since I bought a 981 cayman s , I couldn't think to go back to a 911 (unless it was a GT3 of course). The RS4 just wants to pull and pull whereas the Gts (or any 911) has that limit in gears - great from 4-6k rpm though! It's so difficult to compare those two cars as they are both equally good , but I guess everyone's opinion will be different...

Cool, nice insight. I'm not so secretly lusting for a Cayman in GTS guise :sekret:

Enjoy the Imola, it's a great colour and a refreshing change from all the monotone colours you see around today.
