I use their Alto Neptune 2 model which is not cheap but is a hot water one which makes a lot of difference when using a pressure washer.

Yes, I did get it down to £1560. It's not just for car washing duties though, as there are stables and chicken coops to clean - so kind of justified it that way. I've seen some second hand ones pop up on eBay for £500-£600.

The idea is to leave the paint on your car Jay :thumb:

That one flows 600L/h which is in the same region as the expensive Kranzle washers.

I like my karcher k4. It didn't cost the earth (£164 last year) and the snow foam is fun. Enough power for cleaning the back yard too.

I use a cheapo Karcher washer - http://www.diy.com/rooms/karcher-k2-com ... 903_BQ.prd
I think I paid £60, so if it only lasts a couple of years or so, it's no loss
Also, my neighbour has some super powerful Karcher one that cost £400 or so, and it lifting the badge off the back of his 911, so pressure isn't always a good thing

I have the same cheapo one now. I had a more expensive one previously and it took the lacquer off my old Fiat Coupe.

Karcher for me - was about £140 YEARS ago. A PH neutral snow foam (Valet Pro) and let it dwell well for 5-10 mins and most dirt will soften and lift in prep for jet washing.. after that, as they say, it's all downhill...

That's nothing to do with the jet wash

Used my karcher the other day on the kids slide, came up really nice until I realised it removed the lacquer.....
It's like sand paper now, suggested the wife used it for the cellulite which as you can imagine went down well :jump:

You can definitely have too much pressure. Nilfisk do a nozzle specifically for washing cars which outputs at a lower pressure than the 2 nozzles the pressure washer shipped with

Hot water is better than higher pressure. I've got a Nilfisk C120 that I used to run hot water through at my old house, was brilliant. Got to sort out getting hot water in the garage at the new house now.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Just buy one that heats the water ! I would imagine running hot water through one from tap could
Be dangerous as no thermostatic control
