Daytona Grey color matching

When I bought my RS4 1,5 years ago I was aware that the left front fender had been resprayed due a a minor shade difference that was visible in certain light.

Now I have had 8 different shades (all Glasurit) sprayed of Daytona Grey (LZ7S) and non seem to match 100%! The rest of the car is in factory paint.

Anyone have similar experience and any solutions?

I had the bonnet and door painted on my Daytona R8 and the match was perfect, I think they probably blended surrounding areas to help with the match.

That is what they'll do to mine as well but still strange that there are so many variants of the same color.

I just had a small repair done on my osr wheel arch. I was dreading picking it up. But I can't believe how good the finish and colour match are. And they only painted up to the body line on the rear quarter panel

I have had both front wings replaced under audi warranty and the match is spot on

I was wondering the same on this! Mine has a few chips around the front end and i have since had a argument with the garage door frame on the wing. When funds allow i,m gonna have the whole front end done. Just hope i,m as lucky on the colour match.
