They have stopped selling the light smoke film which is a shame... I purchased a part roll from the USA.

There is plenty of people on here with headlight tints films applied... Yes it is a matter of personal taste and not to everyones liking, but so are a lot of other things on peoples cars. Basically, no need to be so god damn runde and oppinionated.

It's a factory option that is practical. Granted, had I spec'd the car from new I would have ticked the double glazing option instead. However, making your headlights poorer at illuminating the road is just silly and dangerous.

Ok, well you obviously know loads about the product so we'll leave it there then.

The fact is tinting lenses will decrease the lumen output of the headlight, so there is validity to my point. I don't need a product data sheet to work that one out.

Either way i dont mind using clear lenses. Will this make the light look new? and hide all the chips etc?

I have seen this link:

http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/sh ... K-warning)

I really wanted to do this, but i am scared that i dont want to damage anything. Results look really good.

What is your guys opinion?

There is a clear paint / lens protection film available which will make a massive imporovement, and protect the lens from stone chips.

Could you possibly give me a link for where to buy the lens as I totally am unknown to this sort of film being available in the marketplace.

Or

Some detailing company who could refurbish my headlights just like in the link I provided.

Thanks
