A cold air feed will not increase power but what it will do is allow your engine to perform at its best for longer and suffer less from engine heat. You know how the car seems to fly on those cold damp mornings? Well the theory of the cold air feed is that it will give you that full oomph for longer before it starts to reduce power due to not enough cold air getting into the engine. Does it work? Hard for me to say as I had a lot of other work done at the same time but others on here have said how good it is.

Remove the driver's side aux rad and fit a piece of piping to channel air from beside the fog light up to the underside of the airbox. Should cost about £10 plus labour as you're removing parts, not fitting anything (other than about a foot of hose/piping).

Got the cold air feed fitted at the same time as my other mods, so like Mike Fish its difficult to determine if there is any real benefit from it, however it does make sense! and for somewhere in the region of £250 I went with it!!

Hi all

As stated the CAF is more about consistency than gain. It helps with intake temperatures allowing power to be sustained for longer.

We will do the complete job for around £200.00 all in. The replacement nearside auxiliary radiator is an extra £190.00 if needed.
