Well I now know it's the coolest leaking no idea if that's going to be cheaper or not right now. :(

Just a note on the JHM oil pipes, make sure you ask them to plug the pipe ends to stop all the particles of the packing entering the pipes( saves having to clean before fitting)

That they ship the pipes and fittings with packaging protection so they do not end up with damage ( as they sent mine)

The import duty just for your info was about £153 so if you can get someone to multi ship concealed all well and good

Just as a side note; I purchased the Hawk fast road pads at the side time, a very good pad they stops well, very quite, and best of all, very low dust fall out for the front wheels!

Hummmm Hawk pads forgot about them, used to have them on my old b5 2.8 SC A4 with the ECS larger disc conversion and they were a great pad. Think I will add them to the list....... going to Canada in October might get them myself.

If it is the aux radiators that are leaking they are not that expensive, much cheaper than the oil cooler.

Some people delete the right hand one anyway so they can run a cold air feed to the airbox.

Just read through this whole thread and couldn't help thinking that surely if you had just tasted the fluid doc when you first noticed it you would have known what it was there and then. Anyway I just done the aux rad delete and caf on mine last weekend with the help of the 'how to' thread in the F&Q section on here (would have been lost without it). I bought a new aux rad from Stoke audi for £181 (everywhere else was wanting £201) and replaced the passenger side one with the new one and obviously got rid of the one on the drivers side. You don't have to change this one but mine wasn't looking to healthy although it wasn't leaking n would probably have had to be changed in the near future anyway. Bought a Revotec cold air feed kit from demontweeks for around £50 (price depends on diameter of pipe) I used 76mm but could have probably used bigger.

Hope this helps :D

I have to say I would not have a clue what coolest taste like and to be honest don't care to find out. .... lol

I have just ordered a CAF kit off eBay that I had bookmarked from another install on here, also orderd a 20mm T pipe to join the pipes.

Will try and get this done on Saturday if parts arrive on time or if not see if I can do a temp fix to get me by.

Well Saturday I had the bumper off to have a look at the coolest leak but alas all I could confirm was that it ain't the pipe work.

so while I was there I switched over the bumper,( still needs paint but better than what was on there and worked out what I need to do to take out the drivers side aux rad a fit a CAT.

Oil lines look ok but a painted them for more protection.

Nice! Oil ones look Ok. What do they look like connecting into the oil cooler? That's where the galvanic corrosion sill occur...

Doh! :bash:

Smoothrite and Denso tape for you then. Go on, just do the JHM lines - you'll only get the bumper back on just so and then have to remove it before winter!

The lines in to the cooler will be the ones to see. Mine were replace 16 months ago by the previous owner at Audi - going already...
