cheers bud, I am a bit new to it all but the car does act and drive so different. I got the power I hoped for with precat removal without removing the precats. So when I have saved up a little I will take it back and get them taken out.

suprising what one tuner to another can do, but make no mistake Doug who's a told chap btw, I thought he was just a general tech who knew a lot until I asked his name... knows his bacon. (in this case Bacon is Audi v8 B7 goodness)

Its a different colour thats for sure and to be fair I did not want red either. I viewed the car with a open mind and it really is a stunning colour. Dont get me wrong I have seen a couple of grey or black ones since such as at MRC yesterday but they diddnt take my breath away. Red when clean is one of the best imo!

Cheers Gino.

I was disappointed on the day well the morning. After the initial rolling road I was going to not bother and just bring the car home and drive it as I really couldn't afford 2k for a carbon clean and the work I wanted done. Carl kinda swung me around that with just three hours labour we will know whats what so very pleased as they carbon cleaned what was there at the same time for not much more.

My personal views are the rolling road graph from AMD were made to look that way.

The car was at full <beep> 13 degrees timing it couldn't do any more, on the stock map the ecu dropped it to 6 degree retarded hence more power so the amd map was not clever. Also the full throttle 1st second and third was not removed! I also had the flaps removed in the intake, and the car seems much better on fuel

was toying with pre cat removal but the results are like 10 bhp and maybe 20nm torque. Not that great

[quote="Regy53"]

429.3PS, 477nm. VS 383PS and 424nm when I got there.

Thanks MRC

That's very similar to mine done a day or so after yours 429.8ps, 459nm vs 363.2ps and 407nm when I arrived. What a difference a week, and some cash does.
