Hi Richard,

Sorry to hear of your woes, if it is of any help I run a RS4 myself and look after two customers ones as I run a Bosch service garage we are heavily into diagnostics using Autologic, Pico and Bosch oscilloscopes the later with a signal generator - handy for testing sensors without replacing with new to see if it cures the fault, plus many other tools, other garages use us for diagnostics. We have new free loan cars (Peugeot 208 1.4 diesel 70mpg) to ease the pain of being carless etc.

Apologies for touting (PhilT) but I am near Doncaster so may be an easier option for you plus I look favourably on RS4 owners ;)
