If you haven't already, have look at some of the posts on the 'Yet another oil cooler question (well a few actually)' thread here. I'm in the middle of changing over to JHM pipes and new Audi cooler and am planning to do a mini thread for those who, like me, have problems with the standard set up. Or PM me if you want :thumb:
Hi mate, yes interested in this - did it take long to ship from the states as my car is sat in the garage at the moment and I need it :-(

Just read on R8T, a guy in the UK took his warranty co to court for not covering the oil cooler as they try to claim as it was an oil leak its not covered but the judge said the oil cooler is a mechanical part and the warranty said all mechanical parts are covered

I ordered the kit on Christmas Eve and it was delivered first thing on the following Monday (30th) which I thought was pretty good as 2 days were public holidays and there was a Sunday too, so only 3 working days  It's simple to buy on line and the guy who I dealt with was really helpful (he's called Dru).

Got some photos from the dealer of the connectors.

Not a pretty sight. Still not sure on best option out of various permuations of OEM, JHM and Forge bits.

The existing cooler is fine,

Its just the pipes that cause issue.

Get your local specialist to gently cut the pipes off, as mine did and then just fit new ones with liberal application of greaseslip stuff to reduce corrosion in future, then get this done every year as a service item when they drain the oil - remove connections, clean up and refit with protection.

Just cost me £350 to do mine and will add a half hour of labour onto the service bill.

Simples.
