Yeh Birmingham

it's like New Jack City lol

I have noticed a lot more scrap yards buying higher end motors ?

TBH after watching recent clip of thief's from the midlands steeling RS4 & BMW etc

If there's money to be made you will find it in our little town.

It was bad in the old days with cossie s, metro Gti etc

TBH this guy is sticking to a high price, I went in at £1,700.00 and refused.

I tried £1,900 joy, so left him to hang and no offer/deal

So I reckon he is genuine.

the sellers feedback looks sketchy

as a seller, 10 items over 2-3 years
unlocked iphones, tail lights, salvage car, etc.

as a buyer small items from the same sellers
looks like he was trying build up a feedback profile

shady
he may not be stealing them, but he may be like a pawn Shop or something

Cash on collection only too? The whole listing just gives the impression it's to be steered clear of, some poor soul with missing seats somewhere.

Chunky, looks like you're not too far

In fairness the worst of the breaking cars and Cat C/D specials are normally in the towns beginning with S!
It's the other nicer parts of town where the cars are normally taken from!

Just thinking out loud, anyone thought of taking the car to the vets and having the seats micro chipped ??

This is all Audi need to install & the thefts would stop pretty quickly following a few convictions either via eBay or car shows -

+ the police already have the scanner, calling the dog warden for some seats may be a little tricky

I used red loctite on the bolts of my seats & filled the heads with silicone (to stop someone rounding off the heads) you may want to consider that as some cheap additional security. I also had an alarm fitted so if it does go off should be able to hear the siren !
