I just had mine through from Privilege. I paid 400 last year but they want 450 this year. I've already got a quote of 290 from Axa and loads of other cheaper ones so it's gonna be adieu and farewell to Privilege I think.

Admiral refused to replace my cracked windscreen with OEM, so they can offer me £20 for the year and I'd still be going else where. Currently at around £600, due for renewal in Feb. Might have a look at Greenflag, they're meant to be good for mods too (and replace like for like, rather then standard OEM replacement).
Edit - just been on confused.com and seen that Bell (Admiral's cheapest option) was quoting £599 and Priviledge was £319 (+£50 for legal and breakdown cover). I guess 5 years' NCB makes a big difference.

That doesn't quite add up... did you somehow carry over NCB from a scooter?

Sky who advertise on here have been my choice for the past 6 years so I've been a loyal customer. They've just quoted me 504 pounds. I'm 37 with 9 years ncb and clean license living in a good area. Judging by previous posts I should be able to reduce this via Axa or Greenflag.
I'll post results in the week.

What did you say to get them to reduce it by that much, they normally ask for proof of a lower quote ??

Never auto-renew in my experience. Always worth speaking to a human being. You can't bargain with computers...got my RS6 covered for £238 for the year, but that's on multi-car with a diesel Skoda as my 'main drive'. Waiting to see how this all works when its renewal time with 2 months difference between the policy renewal dates for the 2 cars??

Got my renewal from admiral last year saying they were putting up my premium by 200 quid to £1200 so I went on money supermarket and guess what..... the cheapest quote was admiral for £700, called them, said my piece and got another £100 for the inconvenience! Apparently theres a differant quoting system for new customers compared to existing ones which is bullshit, surely they should be rewarding loyalty not punishing you for it!!

An idea equally lost on phone companies - great deals to attract new customers, and a nice finger to 'loyal' ones who ask for the same.
