Some patronising going on here chaps. Just because the lad is 21 doesn't mean he doesn't know how to steer a 400bhp car. :bash:

Great car mate, health to enjoy it!

+1.

RS 4's aren't the £50k cars they used to be 7yrs ago!

They are £16-£20k cars ... Which many young people are going out buying value equivalent cars

I have 3 month old disks and pads [OEM] all round in my 07 RS4 Avant - I developed bad brake judder recently. Last weekend I borrowed my neighbours compressor and cleared all the vent holes in the discs and gave the calipers a good 'blow out' - My break judder has gone .....

PS FON!

That's terrible !! I would be very angry if I had just replaced them & got judder :/ saying that though I just jet washed & really blasted the holes & it seemed to help it

:thumb: thanks for sticking up for me haha. My st was 283bhp & never had any trouble or near misses ect in that, drove it sensibly with a few blasts. I have way to much to loose than a chav in a corsa with a loud exhaust & don't need to prove anything to anyone

I bought mines for my 21st 4 years ago as a treat to myself. A cars only as fast as you drive it, treat it with respect sure but make sure you enjoy it. I thought I read focus st and rs4 in the same sentence with regards to having had power before? Ill kid on it was a typo, the st doesn't have a look in! Your rs4 won't stay standard for long it becomes boring its that good

Exactly why not eh, I know my area well & tbh I don't drive like a mad man, hahaha you will r surpised how fast STs are, if you spend about £2500 your talking 380bhp & that will shock some RS4s. 283bhp is powerful no matter what anyone says but compared to MY st the rs4 is in a different league.

I am happy with the power for now but want a exhaust for it :p really want a tubi

I have several business interests namely within the fitness industry, hope that Satisfies your nosiness :) ! What do you work as?

At the op I had 3 variants of supercharger mate started with pes m90 then m112 and finally tts. Its not cheap to do but easily the best thing I done to mines.

Kudos to the young guys getting these, I just got mine 2 weeks ago and I am 38, but I do have an expensive divorce under my belt and a very wallet draining 12yr old daughter so it has taken me some time to collate enough to get back into something nice (had a mustang before my divorce :( .... I miss her every day.. the car not the ex-wife!!)

Be careful and enjoy the ride, quite literally!
