Well If it is a remap, the Audi SW should over write it no problem. You then could get the remap of your choice uploaded onto in Audi SW, Like I did with the MRC remap.

BTW How is the Superchip remap?

ah ok, ill try my local dealer for the 0090 upgrade, cant really say tbh as i dont know what a standard one drives like, the power delivery is smooth and its quick but rs4 should be ill get it dynod in the new year, and going to try some redex and carb cleaner to try to shift the sludge on the inlet

Because of the direct injection Redex won't be much use - the fuel gets injected direct into the cylinder and never goes into the inlet manifold.

How can I find out what version of the ECU im running? do I need Vagcom?

Yep, connect to either engine ECU at address 1 or 11 with VCDS (Ross-Tech stopped using the Vagcom name years ago...) and you'll see the SW version number in the data that appears.

You're on SW0090, notable by the fast idle on a cold engine start.

Id love it, but I just bought an awesome RS4 off a very nice bloke and am now out of money for the foreseeable.... unless I can pay you with shell loyalty card points, I seem to have a lot racking up!
