Is anyone running 18" wheels on their B7 RS4?
Is anyone running 18" wheels on their B7 RS4?
I'm thinking of putting some 18" wheels on my car, is anyone else running 18"? Does it ride different?
Good or bad?

I had a set on my car for a week while I was waiting for my new wheels to show up and I will say the car rode better on the 18's due to more sidewall however it just didn't look right in my opinion.
18's

19's

18's

19's

Don't think it looks too bad at all, but that's just me. I like your 19s - what are they?

18" was the standard wheel size in most countries with 19" as an option, except the UK where it was the opposite (i.e. 19" standard with 18" as the option - which very, very few purchasers opted for) - and if you're thinking of upgrading to the ceramic brakes then 19" is required.

If the roads were bad in my area, I would seriously consider running 18's. They definitely ride better than the 19's....

I had 18s for a while as my track rims, made for better acceleration

Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

I actually prefer fatter sidewalls. They look cooler. IMO.

The white lettering probably helps!
Re: Is anyone running 18
May I ask where you got them from and how much you paid? PM me if you like. Looking for something different for my car.-Boosted- wrote:Thanks, they are Rotiform SNA's.kidyamlo wrote:Don't think it looks too bad at all, but that's just me. I like your 19s - what are they?

only as winters.
does make it ride noticeably softer and quieter on the motorway, but that might be the tyre. though you only can tell if you drive back to back. if you got in and drove without knowing you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.
and yes the roads are absolute rubbish.
halfway through a change from 19->18" and a poor photo.

sonny, what wheels are those 18's you were running, and what are the offsets, width, etc. and tyres? The roads around our way are shot to sh1t and seeing this thread (and how good 18's can look with the right set up and chunky sidewall) i'm actually contemplating it over my 19's currently, which are 275/30/19 rubber bands. The wife's pregnant and she can't stand being in the car currently (doesn't help it's got the AWE non-res on it toosonny wrote:I had 18s for a while as my track rims, made for better acceleration![]()
