Glove Box Repair 2006 B7

Hi Guys,

The left hinge on my glove box has snapped, appears that the small piston to the outside left has failed, has anyone had any experience of repairing these, or is it a new glove box, hinge is part of glove box door so not sure if repair can be carried out, also anyone know the part number for the replacement piston.
