Just washed the car, got it all minted then headed off to work to take the roof box and bars off, while the car was stood idling for a few minutes whilst I was talking to a guy next door the reverse lights came on by themselves and wouldnt go out.
Now I did notice when I pulled off the drive that the reverse sensor beeped a few times so I pressed the button on and off and it stopped.
Think I may have a short in one of the sensors or the reverse switch it's on it's way out.
Got the reverse lights out again by switching off the ignition starting back up and selecting reverse a few times.

This seems to have happened to me now too. The reverse lights and sensors come on and stay on.
Is there any easy fix for this?

most likely this switch

looks like an easy fix once you have the switch and access to it
