After not hearing nothing since Wednesday after they said they were starting to remove the engine, I emailed the dealer to get an update Friday morning. Didn't hear nothing by 2pm so I phoned Audi customer services and had a little moan about the lack of 'service' I feel I'm receiving. She took all my details and I updated her on the claim so far and within 2 hours I received an email saying the engine was out and that the heads are now starting to be removed. Things still seem to be going really slowly so apologies for the delayed updates. I blame the dealer.

Sorry if it feels like we're nagging... Definitely no need for you to apologize about anything. Everyone really wants to see a good outcome for you!

Plus 2...it has dragged on longer than a soap storyline..I reckon once audi finally make there mind up and rsmartin posts up the verdict the forum will go into meltdown and crash... :biggrin2: who did shoot JR. In the end...

Audi are paying out, I know just called the dealer

Not really but it's obvious, he'd be ranting by now

That depends on expectations. The OP might have been expecting a 'goodwill' gesture as the ultimate result e.g. I've pulled a girl expecting the full dirty deed but as the night rolled on and I got more sober, I was very happy to 'escape' with a handjob... knowwhatImean?

Haha sorry guys, I thought seeing as we've all had to wait four weeks, a few more hours wouldn't matter.
But yes silas your right, the claim has been accepted!
Absolutely amazing news, I'm too happy right now :)
