Help: KW56 CAV

Hi Guys,

Looking to buy this car and need more info on it, seller has given minimal details to owners but has high mileage 115k.

I've checked the short data vehicle check which bought up 1owner from new.

If anyone could help me with spec etc, and what I should be looking for on a high miler.

Sorry - don't recognise the car.

Have seen the classified advert on ebay though and something just doesn't seem right - I know the mileage is high at 115k but for a 2007 car to be on the market at only £8200?! I'd be wondering why - there was another high miler mentioned on here a couple of months back (about 110k miles I think) and from memory that one sold for over £13k...so why is the seller of this one pricing it so cheaply?

It might be perfectly fine and I might be overly cynical, but I'd be wary of it.

If you're still keen on it I guess you should be checking the service history, DRC, and 'consumables' such as clutch etc which must surely have been replaced at that mileage. The ad mentions Audi service history up to 89k miles - try to find out which dealer(s) and speak to them to see if they can vouch for the car.

Good luck - it could end up being a real bargain!

£8200??? Thats menta, cheapest Ive seen was around £16000 high mileage and cat d IIRC, And looked worn

yep know that one! just bought it unfortunately the ad you refer to is a fake have bought it from a guy in Cumbria sounds really genuine..... although have not yet got it! it is a one owner (Lee Sharp Ex Man Utd) means nothing to me as i follow the egg shaped ball!!! just been in to Carlisle Audi for a service and some "goodwill" work.

will let you know what its like once i have driven from Carlisle back to London!!!!
