Thats a bit like how longs a piece of string? If they were newer and all in good condition etc the soread on prices would be narrow, nowadays though theres alot of rough and high mileage examples aswell as nice ones so perhaps having your own car judged on its own merits is the only way to get a real idea, too many variables to even get within a grand or two imo.Theres 2-3k difference to be spent on one with shot brakes and tyres and dealers aint daft when buying even though they appear so when selling,as always nice cars in good nick with good spec sell for good money, blind trade bids will aklways have an element of of a safety margin in it for themselves its human nature, many dont realise how a colour or mileage affects values heavily, perhaps post your cars details ?

IF YOU MEASURE THE PIECE OF STRING FROM ITS START TO ITS FINISH THEN YOU'LL KNOW HOW LONG A PIECE OF STRING IS. IT'S SIMPLE WHEN YOU KNOW HOW.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I'm really after knowing how much my car has depreciated. Purchased for around £29K almost two years ago. Spec is 07-plate, Mugello Avant. 61K miles, FBSW, comfort Recaros, OEM Bluetooth retrofitted, iPod integration (Alpine/Kufatec), MRC stage 2 custom remap, Milltek non-res valved exhaust, satnav, Bose, etc.

Had my local Audi dealership giving me p/x options on new Audis so it'd be interesting to see what they value it at.

If you do get an Audi dealer who is prepared to do a p/x on your car as some will not being that it is 5+ years old then they will invaribaly move it on through auction and are looking for anywhere between a minimum £5-7k margin on it to cover what work if any needs doing. I have a range of p/x's on mine and they anywhere from insulting to what I thought. They don't car much for the condition of the car or how recently tyres / brakes / service was done although they should. Best to private sale on here.

If I give an opinion, please don't get offended like the guy on the other thread re his Imola Avant.

Ignoring the remap and Millek, the current book price for your car [presuming it has FASH and is good condition] is £18k. Of course, that price doesn't take into consideration any negotiations against what you are buying. That is purely the current book price for an 07 Avant with that mileage.

Map and Milltek could add or remove value, depending on how it's viewed in the market it's sold. :)
