Driving in france (headlights?)

Post by GlenRS » Mon Sep 17, 2012 8:26 am

As the title suggests I'm looking at going to France today and I've done some reading up which says you can use Vagcom to adjust our lights to euro mode.

Only problem is other than you can do it, I cant find out how. I have borrowed vat com off my brother and the connection lead, so if anyone can shed any light it would be appreciated.

Channel depends on the headlights your car has, but look for Tourist Mode

On my slightly later B8 S5 the headlights are adjusted on the MMI screen under the CAR options

If you have normal Bi-Xenon headlights it's adaptation channel 10, http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... on_Plus%29

If you have adaptive Bi-Xenon headlights it's adaptation channel 23, http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... e_Light%29

It's so quick and easy to do I change it while we're on the train in the Channel Tunnel.
