Bought a cat-back Milltek off a member the other week and finally got around to fitting it last night (for anyone thinking of doing it themselves, I can't say I recommend it. Doable, but a PITA). Anyway, got the OEM one off, and just couldn't resist starting it up with no exhaust on.
Oh.
My.
God.
The noise.
I thought I'd summoned the apocalypse or something. So loud, so raw, popping, banging, shooting flames, the lot (would have taken a video but wouldn't have recorded it, would have just clipped and distorted). I wish I could have kept it like that! At least the Milltek still sounded nearly as good. Kinda wish I live further away from work now so I can listen to it for longer. Might have to find a longer route...

Re: Couldn't Resist
Is that no downpipes no catback? Or no catback?
I've heard an Rs4 with just headers and it's mental.
