Best options for adding to or replacing rns-e

Post by Andyglos » Mon Jul 23, 2012 10:10 pm

Hi,

I have recently purchased a 2007 b7 saloon and would like some advice on what the best options are to add a DVD player to the car. Is it easy to add to the rns-e and if so what do people recommend? Or is the best option to replace the rns-e with a double din sat nav/DVD etc system e.g kenwood, pioneer or similar?

Any tips greatly appreciated.

If you want to keep the OE look then get a DVD package from Kufatec of an IMA+ multimedia adapter and compatible DVD player, then you'll be able to control the DVD player using the RNS-E.

Thanks for the reply. i'd certainly prefer to keep the OEM look ............ so will explore the Kufatec option.
