LOL

just leave each to their own .... condescending, stereotyping "max power" comments from simply removing some badges are not helpful at all

It kinda makes me laugh in away, you guys all go on about how de-badging is max power yet a guy posts photos of his car de-badged and with after market LED lights and no one makes a peep about the lights

Yeah but the standard LED's that come out of the factory... don't look like those, do they !
There... I've said it.

I fully accept it's "each to their own", so no offence intended !
Additionally, if someone manufactured some LEDS (that in my personal opinion), looked good.... I'd be all over them.
I've been saying the same thing for over 18 months.....

Well correct me if i am wrong but B7's never had LED's so no LED option for a B7 will ever look factory. However link below is proabley the closest you will to a B8 factory LED look from a quick look i had around.

I have only just signed up so didnt really know the whole LED debate, tbh LED lighting has grown on me and the ones Mike really are alot more tasteful that alot of aother lighting options that could be had............

Any way off the LED subject for me and back on to the orignal Topic, my badges are going back on made the choice and being re-fitted before i pick the car up this weekend :)

Even with all the badges on mine I still regularly get asked 'is it a diesel?' :bash:

And while I subscribe (except when it comes to football) to the live and let live philosophy, I personally think they look brilliant exactly as they came out of the factory :kissmyrings:

No they didn't, I believe you were referring to new cars in general:

"Most new cars" !!

(not the B7), hence my reply.

But when seeking an opinion you have to expect to get people's opinions... funny that?

Interesting you should ask...
The daylight photo in post 1, looks "not too bad"... i'd be interested to know what they are (don't think it's answered in that thread).
One obvious no - no is the thick black margin between the two sets of lenses. This seems common across most of the aftermarket clusters.

The units in post 6 however, are IMHO horrible.
They look like a Maplin kit from the 1980's.
What are these, Dectane ?
