No worries, not running on spacers at the moment but have been playing with the thought to get it done. Want to change tires first before adding spacers. Its time to replace my tires next and do spacers at same time you will see in the pictures the wife curbs and ruins the tires and alloyes :-(

So my plan was getting a second car for her to drive and have the RS4 just for me and weekend drives.

What are ur numbers for the spacers front and back? I think from remembering best is 10mm on the back and 8mm at the front but could be wrong

Tim will take some pictures and upload later for you the stance with the bilstein
I was lucky with mine,- on MRC's dyno I started with 409

Look forward to seeing the pics.

10 for the back 8 for the front is the perfect combination. Makes it look that little bit fatter :thumb:

Love the ride height correction at the rear, I'd be tempted to lower the front though - mine always sits high on DRC. It's unusual to see cars with the V8 badge still on them, if it works for you then I guess it does compliment the car. Lovely pics kaiser - I run 10mm rear and 8mm front spacers, all from Virdee Autos on here. Still in two minds about them though - they need to grow on me :)

Still don't completely understand why some go for Bilsteins and some for KW's - guess it's the ability to adjust.

Thanks Tim the V8 badge I added myself. I know the US RS4's have the V8 badge and I really like that look with the V8 badge.

In regards to front height yes agree I would like it a bit lower as well, but doug advised it will adjust lower with usage and time so he said give it couple of weeks see what I feel like and we can adjust if it drops to low.

So really going to wait couple of weeks now and see where it sits. If still at same height I will go back to adjust lower no question just this tiny fraction lower.

Can I ask you why you are still in two minds about the spacers?
What's against it?

Hi Kaiser1976,

I like your V8 badge - where did you get it? You got a part number? I went to spacers a week ago and IMO they set it off nicely. :-)

Hi Gav

Thanks, I bought them a long time ago and I believe I got them of ebay have a search on there. If you can't find them let me know and I go through my emails to find the seller again.

Nice any issues with the spacers? Are you running them on 10mm back and 8mm front?

Hi E3ddw

Well ride comfort let's say I didn't know guildford roads are that bad!!!

I do feel the road a lot more my wife says it feels a lot harder. And I do have to admit you do feel a lot more of the road!!!

But when on the motorway it feels a lot lower and stable on the road, even around bends when I used to have to come of the accelerater because it felt unstable now I just keep going faster through those bends the car feels like its on train tracks. (With the ARB added)

Thanks Kaiser,

I found this one I might go for - looks very similair to yours! ;-)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAIR-2-x-Audi ... 3374b82d2e

Yes the spacers I went for were 10mm back and 8mm front. A few pictures of it installed at the end of this post; http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=96240

I've had no rubbing yet - seems to be the prefered combo for the std tyres and wheels. - I'm on SS+ so not quite as low as yours ;-)

Cheers,
Gav

Hi Gav

Yes that's where I got mine from!

Just looked at your pic's very nice love the black RS4's, I think ill have to do the spacers on my next visit to MRC which will be soon.

I will take some more pictures in two weeks and see where she finally has settled in ride height.
