Problem solved new Vreds fitted

Well the noise and tyre coming off sensation on full lock problem is now solved a new set of Vreds ( £768 inc vat and balance, valves etc) and the problems gone drives great very impressed with the Vreds so far

well not grinding exactly just felt like the tyre was going to pop off on full lock but everything ok now

I always found the Vreds waxy up until end of life, like they were brand new i.e. Not scrubbed in.

They have soft side walls compared to others so on limit grip isn't as good as others but two sets in now and they have been fine. You can't have been leaning on them hard enough or maybe your car just doesn't suit them.

Got the Vreds from The Garage, Wolverton MK TEL 01908 315020
I find these tyres are the dogs danglies they are better all round than the contact sports i had on it im very impresses so far

Thanks for the info on the Conti tires(yes I'm a yank). I was considering these or the Michelins.
