yes id say so or DS2500 as are a bituminous based pad, we have a big range of pads we can spec for your ideal use.. can even make bespoke pads

Yes i too have same prob on my OEM discs, ive found that pad choice makes a difference in terms of how quickly, if you look the AP disc holes they are counter sunk and are 1mm bigger and the AP rotors have 48 17mm axial vanes unlike the OEM, so effectively venting or blowing the holes clean as such in use/rotation .. but this build up really depends on pad material and conditions and use.
