Hoping to be a newbie soon!

Post by Gregg16 » Sun Jan 01, 2012 9:49 pm

I currently own an Evo 6 and being looking to get a new car for the last month or so. After much deliberation I have decided to go for the RS4 as I have always wanted one. I'm going to look at black 06 plate with 50k on the clock, full Audi service history, also going to look at a blue 06 with 65k on the clock again with full service history.

As I'm new to the Audi seen I was just wondering what I should be looking for or checking when I go to look at the cars.

Thanks in advance Gregg

Welcome Gregg, if you do a search in the RS4 B7 section on Wolfgang's posts earlier in 2011 there are comprehensive 'what to check for' and 'what are desirable options' lists that he put together after much research, can't go wrong with those. :beerchug:

Just check that black paint bro, a lot of them are showing scratches - not convinced that the black paint was that great a quality but you can always get it detailed professionally.

+1. I went for a phantom black one which looks fantastic when clean but doesn't stay that way very long and shows up every little tiny scratch and mark. 12 months in and still love it though.
