Well I'm a badge snob but it's quite easily my best car including numerous Lotus's, Evo's, Z4MC....
Won''t have any problem sticking with you V8 boys even in standard form.
I own one and even get the owner thing. "For 20 year olds". Well I don't know of 20 year olds that could buy one new (£28k+) and run a 2.5T 5 pot.
OP bought a subtle blue one unlike my wackier UG.

After a B7 RS4 I'll bet that you would find a B8 RS5 or a B8/9 RS4 disappointing - Audi have once again lost the plot on getting the ride/handling balance right.

Looks like a max power car, its all abit too try hard. I don't care how good it is to drive, I would rather cycle to work then look a tw*t in that :)

Anyway, as long as you like it, thats all that matters :)
Haha, Agree entirely!
However I can understand where you're coming from in terms of wanting to experience different cars and not restricting yourself by owning any one car for a long time.
I've had the RS for almost 2 years now and absolutely love it and I fully intend to keep it for a long time yet. A tarmac arched 300hp RWD MK2 Escort RS, now thats a much more interesting RS 'alternative'! :D
Current;
Porsche 997.1 GT3RS. Pure Orange, ceramics, etc, Sharkwerks exhaust
BMW 2002 restomod; Turbo body kit, S14 M3 Evo engine and lots more
Audi Q3 Black edition Quattro

Previously enjoyed;
Ibis White B7 RS4 Avant : TTS Supercharged 615ps/614 nm
Subaru Impreza 22B
Noble M400
TVR 400SE
Lotus Sunbeam Avon

I would agree with this, on the open road the difference will be in the driver.

Well after owning the Focus RS for 2 days now and non stop use i thought i would let u all know my veiws, :biggrin3: it is an absolute howlllll to drive, so much more feel than my RS4 cabby, suspension is so stiff and gives u so much feed back and hard cornering is superb, had a little bit of "lift of oversteer" and i could not stop laughing when it was wet yesterday with just a little bit counter steer it sorted itself out and in the dry today it never happened lol, ive had a few passengers in too and all have commented on how suprised they were with the power and the torque is emense, feels so much more faster than the RS4 even after being mapped, cant wait to get the Montune kit and bigger intercooler and exhaust on then it should be running arount 385bhp with about 470nm torque. Oh and the brakes are superb Ford definatley seem to getting this model RS right.
So overall im happy to say the least with my new purchase and a few other good points £68 to fill tank and 340miles for that and back to cheap road tax lol. :jump:
