Should I?

Post by Mahyar » Mon Nov 07, 2011 1:01 pm

Am thinking of trading the RS4 for a 2008 997 Carrera 4S as the kids are not always here, for now they will be back next year, and wait and see what the next RS4 will be. I think the RS4 looked angry when I started visiting other cars, what to do?

Don't. I was on the same crossroads. You can't even fit decent luggage without scratching the interior, since it fits mostly in the rear seats. As a driving experience, it's completely different, a lot more involving and the sound is great, even standard. But the practicality and visibility wear out after a while... Rent one for a weekend or mid-week since it couls be cheaper, and try it out.
Black 4.2 RS4 Avant, Titan wheels.
Going for K&N, flat bottom steering, LED rear lights, Dectane headlights, Milltek or Tubi exhaust.
May Sachs Performance rot in hell.

Previously:
Audi A3 1.8T, Audi A4 1.8T, Audi S3, VW Passat 1.8T, VW Tiguan 1.8T (anyone see a pattern?)

Went through the same thought myself. Decided to stick with the RS4 for a few more years and keep growing the R8 fund!
