quattro?
Ha. I posted a wanted thread for the MAF, but the tube is attached to the airbox lid. And I wanted to take it to ADI. So I have now made a MAF and the engine does run. I am awaiting the ECU's to come back from decoding so the immobiliser does not kick in. Then I can finish sorting the coolant plumbing and finish making the exhaust...

Here it is with the air filter on....

I have put one into a 1985 Audi 80 and have had it running. I have now sent off my ECU's for decoding.
Judging by those dates, it looks like it took a year and ten-ish days...
I bought the engine from Unit 20 Last November time.

I did all the bodywork and restoration 3 weeks in March and the engine conversion has taken 3 weeks of evenings so far...

I was trying to do my homework before I jumped in with both feet.
