P_G

We lost you on the way back, you get home safe and sound...?

I called Caldy and we were still 1-mile behind him at Team Valley.......!

TT diesel torque wasnt too bad - just a pity that it took me an age to catch up out of most junctions....

Yep, got home OK, Stuwd and I got caught up on the B1257 and never recovered. We were going for it until we got on the A172 before Sutton bank where we had a clear stretch but then a white Scooby appeared out of nowhere travelling at warp speed and then suddenly sat behind Stu so not knowing if it were the Rozzers I steadied myself to the speed limit so lost out.

That said I tried to catch up on the A19 and when I phoned him, caldy reckoned he was just passing the prison when I was on the Tees flyover but after that and some spirited driving with some bikers in tow I never saw you on the 40 miles up to Testo's so gawd knows what speed you lot were doing! Sorry Stu, I left you on ther A19 but I wanted to get home toute suite to see my chimps before they went to bed and try and catch the convoy. Next time, caldy doesn't get to lead! No wonder the Rozzers were on him first thing.

Shame because the run on the way down was ace.

Yes, P_G was a rocket along those roads! Great to watch. I became a little concerned about an unnaturally rapid car just at the limits of my rear view and decided to play sensible, let him get closer and eyeball the driver. My paranoia turned out to be just that: it wasn't an unmarked car after all. Just a new Scoob owner measuring his car against mine. It was weird though. He kept a good distance behind my car for miles while I was driving like I had Miss Daisy in the back.

Just read your post - I wasn't sure if your spidey sense was also tingling! I knew you were on a tight schedule to see your kids so was happy to chill out. Then I fell in with the others and it was back to warp speed :thumb:
