How many miles/tank city drivers?

I reached the first notch on the gauge and done just 30 miles!
And that was done driving mainly from Walton to central London (in London I average 10mpg)

That means that, if I'm lucky I'll do 30*6=180 miles with a tank
maybe less.
Bloody hell. May I ask how many miles have you clocked with a tank in town?
I've read some of you do up to 250/270 but at least 200 I hoped...

Dont' forget once the gauge starts moving it'll go down faster.
I'd figure about 12-15 tops in traffic but london can be horrendous so nearer 10.

When the tank is full the fuel slosh has no effect. As the level drops the gauge will read artificially slightly high. Affects pretty much every car I've ever had.

The tank has 13.8 gallons capacity.
It means that to get to 210 you are able to have nearly 15.5 mpg in London..
That's remarkable in my opinion.
Now how the HECK do you? I'm lucky if I get to 12 which means I'll most likely do 150/160 miles on a tank

That is pretty shocking - 60p a mile!

I don't have an exact mpg figure, but I do know it's absolutely shocking around town. The DIS usually reads anywhere from 10 to 14 mpg.

What about out of town - on more "regular" driving? How much can you get from a tank?

200-220 on average mix of driving. Been to Cumbria from Glasgow this week, and tried driving with climate control off. Result 300 miles on a tank with some spirited driving on A roads and 80mph on M74. Not bad I thought although made me wonder how much the mpg if affected by climate control! Anyone any ideas?
