That is a definite. Mondial told me they had 'issues' with them but when i tried to say im the only one getting hurt they just didnt care - i even asked about going to another dealer to suit them on one occasion but was met with cant do that now sir .... But to be fair to the dealer they did show me all communications and appeared to be upfront.

Like i said just my personal experience probably with many contributing factors but sure made it an easy decision on whether or not to give them my £1400 for a 2nd year.

Interesting. I, in fact, work for an insurance company. We sell very specialist products to professionals working on behalf of property buyers. One of the ways we get people to choose us is to demonstrate our claims history. We give prospective clients data on how many claims were paid and what values were paid. One of the claims department's difficult jobs is to weigh up paying out claims (all companies want to minimise costs) and showing clients that we do pay out on genuine claims.

None of the warranty companies I've looked at are up-front with claims data. That tells me that they're probably not all-together honest and should be treated with care!

However, having said this, I will probably buy a Mondial warranty...
