Gents- it has been a while since I started posting here again.
I figured I would share with you guys a little vid clip of a RS 4 GTG which started in NYC and carved through bear mountain upstate ny.
This was taken earlier last year and the quality is not the best since my cousin was filming out of the sunroof. Enjoy!

RE: Not something you see everyday!
very nice - didn't know there were so many RS4s in NYC. Whereabouts are you based - I have just moved back from Oyster Bay on Long Island to the UK - do miss the place

RE: Not something you see everyday!
We had somewhere between 20-25 RS4s. A lot of the cars are from NJ, NY, PA, DE, CT.
We started out of NYU and went up to bear mountain, had lunch and met with more RS4s that came down from CT. Those are some of the best roads around with beautiful scenery. Every year the group keeps growing. Drop me a PM next time you're in NY. We are always looking to gtg.
I expect we will have 30 RS4s easy this spring. There are a lot of photos on various forums if you like I can post link.

I need to attend this year. Please post a reminder here or in QW. I'm in CT

RE: Not something you see everyday!
G- Come march/april you will see people start asking. Usually the gtg is in May when the weather starts improving.
I will also drop you an email.
Anything new with your car? Piggies, etc?

Sounds good. Recently picked up a used Euro Wheel from Ebay UK. I'll be installing this Spring with help from this DIY thread:RS4POWER wrote:G- Come march/april you will see people start asking. Usually the gtg is in May when the weather starts improving.

I'll be replacing the Good Year all seasons with Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 for use at a few track days this spring/summer either with NEQ or SCDA @ Lime Rock or Watkins Glenn
Spring can't come soon enough, We're getting waaaay too much snow and cold here in the North East

Re: RE: Not something you see everyday!
Mate, you really should consider a TTRS steering wheel; you don't lose functionality that way. I've changed mine as well because mine came with the circular wheel.madgreek wrote:Sounds good. Re: RE: Not something you see everyday!
I considered the TTRS one however, I prefer the Euro OEM as I have Aluminum interior trim which I think goes better with this wheel, I also have no Nav or Bluetooth and never use the radio controls on the wheel. Hence the reason I went with one. Plus with the airbag it came to 660 USD. That played a big part in my decision as well.andre3000 wrote:Mate, you really should consider a TTRS steering wheel; you don't lose functionality that way.
