H&R sport spring

Post by QCRS4 » Fri Jan 21, 2011 4:04 am

I need to change my springs to install HR sport springs. Any procedure or anything that I must know before starting removing the suspension.

best regards,

If you have DRC you will need the equiptment to re gas the system,
which needs to be opened to fit the fronts.
I think it's a main dealer job only to gas it!

As R7ANO said (twice!), fronts mean DRC de and repressurised, rears can be done DIY with copious amounts of elbow grease but if the fronts have to be done by an Audi Franchise with the DRC tool, may as well ask them to do the rears as well.

Only if the car is still under 3 years / warranty. In the UK at least labour rate drops by about 50% IIRC. Oil change labour was £40 inc. VAT

To change springs, 3-4 hours max.?
