Non res millteck/valved?
Non res millteck/valved?
Apologies, I know this has been done to death but I am just about to take an expensive leap and get a milly for my 2006 rs4. I suppose I am looking for reasurrance that they really are that good and to try and get a handle on the sound! I only use the car occasionally but like it to be an event when I do, however as the better weather approaches I would like to use it more.
Thanks

RE: Non res millteck/valved?
I would have to go valved, I love the ability to return to inconspicuous at the push of a button. Sometimes if I am forced to park in a rough area, I turn it off as I don't want to attract the attention of the local chavs.

Def worth it, sounds awesome!! Must be a non-resonated. It's just a difficult choice to go valved or non-valved. I went for valved as I use the car everyday and it's nice to have it quieter occassionally! If you don't use the car too much go for a non-valved as they are almost £1000 cheaper!! Go on youtube and have a listen to some of the sounds

its 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% worth it .... your missing out on so much of the RS 4 experience without a milly
Non res is the only way to go
Valved depends on how much you use the car, for an daily driver, i'd say go valved, but for a weekend toy, go non valved and save £1k

My only regret is that I waited so long before fitting one...
2007 Daytona RS4 Avant
I would go valved if you can afford it,
i had a non res non valved and it was to loud for me, thats in an avant.
i think its louder in the avant.
the bass boom at around 2k was to much.
the milltek has a H pipe at the cats to add torque, thats what adds the boom!
the standard system is not linked and i think sounds better just not loud enough.
