plans as follows :

1) Buy a B7 and escape from (a) diesel and (b) automatic gearboxes
2) Dedicate half of my time to plotting out routes containing Shell VPower stations. A task sorely missed since the CSL went to a new home.

Too replace it with what?
I replaced it back in July with a GTR. In an ideal world I would like to keep both as they are both fantastic cars in different leagues. I had the RS up for sale earlier this year but in my heart I wasn't ready to sell it but I tried anyway. Maybe I had it priced too high as it didn't go, but I've spent a lot of money on it with upgrades and am not prepared to sell it cheap. Running it through the Winter for now which is great fun but that wasn't the plan. Hoped to have a cheap run around for the Winter once the RS had sold but glad to have Quattro in this weather. Will be a sad day when it goes but I can't afford to run both

Think 2011 calls for me to put my own stamp on the RS wheel wise...

Got a couple of things in mind, ideally would like to stick to 19" but there are some tasty 20s which would work well with the B7

hmmmm.... we'll see

Got my car back from MRC last week after a port/clean/remap. Don't intend changing anything in 2011 except maybe gutting the pre-cats. Only other plans are to buy plenty of V-Power and have a permanent grin on my face! :D

After months of lurking and reaserching I hope to become an Avant owner this year.

Ideal spec will be:
Tech pack
Electric seats (non-bucket)
FBSW
Carbon trim
Daytona Grey
<40k miles

If anyone is selling in late spring let me know!

Cheers,

Looks like some people are going to be busy.......

We've got plenty planned inc the following:
fully detailed (put it off last week with bad weather)
exhaust & filter
remap
20" wheels
arb's
sort out that nasty silver plastic at the bottom of the fbsw
discs, lines & pads
plus a few other surprises along the way

Going to keep it as a road biased car as building a track impreza for 2011 - such a great car std we dont need to go mental with it.

Times are going to get tougher next year. So my masternplan is to survive and keep running the RS4 which may be the only thing to keep me smiling and my biggest expense next year will be my sons wedding, thank god he is not marrying into royalty, sharing the cost of that wedding would make me weep!!

i am getting itchy feet ...maybe get a m3 again [e92] i would get an r8 but i cant be doing with the attention it brings....but the dilemma i have is i am not going anywhere with the m3 if anything a step sidewards.. logic tells me the gtr is the motor but you have got to like the look of a motor and it is a bit of a minger look wise imo....or i may just blend in with every other punter in essex...and get the wanna be a gangster truck a range rover...
