i-phone 4

Post by Christiaan » Thu Dec 23, 2010 3:13 pm

For those of you who have the sexy phone craddle thing sticking out of your dash and have an i-phone 4 you can now get the adapter.

It is not available on the Audi UK site yet, but I got the part number for it off the Audi.de site, gave to those lovely chaps at Camberley Audi and hey presto, 2 days later the craddle arrived... They even checked it worked ok before I left.

Part number is: 8T0051435F

I found out using the Audi.de site. (link below)
My German is not very good, but you can use the interactive menus to work out what is available.

Sorry to hijack, but I have the phone cradle sticking out of the dash, and dont really want to go to the hassle of removing it.

I have an iPhone 3GS. Does anyone know if there is a cradle adaptor available? I've looked around and cant find one. The Audi site says their model isnt suitable for iPhone 3G.

Cheers.

Scotty is right - I changed my 3GS for a 4 and it still charges, etc with the old 3GS cradle

Any idea what the iPhone 4 cradle offers over the 3/3Gs one?
