That's usual for Scandanavia isn't it?

Is that all? I was sort of half expecting it to be half immersed. We've got the same level of snow in sunny Newcastle!

That's "global warming" for you.......

The foot or so, and still going, we have in Newcastle isn't typical either! Just try getting a snow shovel or pair of wellies anywhere!!

Snow shovel? Why when you have Quattro?

Irony today was that a guy in our street was digging out his Smart ForTwo and dumped all his sno in front of my car. When I came out he apologised and was then proper gutted when I managed to get out of my space plus his snow without any drama!

These Sessants'a are just like tractor tyres because of the tread pattern.

Exactley i don't understand why they are worried about it, because my wipers have never frozen.

Don't worry, snow shovels not for me... Mostly BMW drivers I expect! :D

No issues at all in the RS4 with the wintracs. I remember start of bad weather last year, had some new Sessantas on and they were pretty good as well. Have to say the wintracs are significantly better in this weather though.

More than likely but unfortunately I don't have anywhere to store a set of wheels with Wintracs on them so Sessantas it will have to be.

I rang audi to get a price on 2 new rims to make up a set for winter tyres but the price was too high. They did tell me that audi do a winter tyre service where you buy a set of 18 on winter tyres and they change and store your other set. So shocked at the price of the 2 alloys that I never got round to getting a quote on the winter service.

I got a set of genuine RS4 rims on eBay, finished in Titan, then stuck Vred Wintracs on them. The only downside is the new rims don't have tyre pressure sensors on, but I can live with a bleep when I start the car up.
The original rims are stored in my living room, with glass on top. Unique coffee table. :-D

You've never had snow which has frozen on then.
